Can I mix AG1 with something besides water?

The only thing we advise against is mixing your AG1 with hot or very acidic liquids, as this could affect the integrity and efficacy of some of the ingredients.

AG1 Upgrade

How can I tell if I received the upgraded AG1?

The easiest way to tell is by checking the serving size – the upgraded AG1 comes with a slightly increased daily portion (13g instead of 12g). You’ll also notice a few design changes:
  • A new hologram on the front of the pouch
  • A new product headline: "Daily Foundational Nutrition Support" (previously "Food Supplement with Sweetener")
  • Updated ingredient label on the back with five new bacterial strains and added magnesium.

Manufacturing & Sourcing Standards

Does AG1 contain lead?

Lead occurs naturally in many whole foods. Anything that comes from the ground, including fruits, vegetables, and even drinking water, is likely to contain some heavy metals.

Each batch of AG1 is tested for heavy metals to ensure that the heavy metal content is below our own set limits, which are even well below the legal limits according to Regulation (EU) 2023/915, which defines a rigorous standard for safety, quality, and compliance.

AG1 tests significantly lower than these maximum statutory levels, despite the fact it contains more than 70 ingredients, many of which are whole foods that could naturally contain metals.

You can find our testing protocol and COA here.
