DrinkAG1.com | info@athleticgreens.com

At AG1, our mission is to empower people to take ownership of their health. We strive to exceed customer expectations by providing the highest quality products. Our supplier relationships are the key to the success of our business. All suppliers must agree to comply with the guidelines and expectations outlined in this Code of Conduct. This is to the collective benefit of the supplier, AG1, and our customers. We are committed to working together with our suppliers towards a long-term, sustainable, and successful future for all parties.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

Compliance with Local Laws
Suppliers will comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the countries in which they operate.

Business Integrity
Suppliers will adhere to the highest standards for business integrity and comply with all anti-corruption and anti-bribery rules, including the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. Specifically, you cannot offer or accept any bribe, kickback, favor, or use any improper influence when dealing with government officials or in any business arrangements.

Confidentiality, Privacy, and Intellectual Property
Suppliers must protect the intellectual property, trade secrets, and confidential information (including personal data and personally identifiable information) of AG1 and its customers. Suppliers who have access to such information as part of their business relationship with AG1 must protect it and not share it. If a supplier believes it has been given access to AG1’s intellectual property, trade secrets, or confidential information in error, the supplier must immediately notify AG1 and refrain from further distribution of the information.

LABOR AND HUMAN RIGHTS

Freedom of Association
Suppliers will recognize and respect the rights of workers to exercise free association, including joining or not joining any association, and the right to bargain collectively.

Right to Work
Suppliers will only employ workers with a legal right to work. In cases where an outside agency is used to employ workers, that agency must also comply with this Code of Conduct.

Sub-contracting and Home Working
Suppliers will not use subcontracting unless previously agreed upon by AG1. If subcontracting is approved, suppliers are responsible for ensuring all subcontractors also comply with this Code of Conduct.

Workplace Health and Safety
Suppliers will provide workers a clean, safe, and healthy work environment following all legal standards in the countries where they operate. The supplier must have fire prevention and emergency action plans to protect workers during normal operations and emergencies. Adequate health and safety policies, procedures, and training must be established and followed.

Suppliers will provide employees with the protective equipment and training necessary to perform their tasks safely. They must ensure access to clean and sanitary facilities, including toilets and potable water, appropriate to the needs and number of employees. Where accommodation is provided, it must be clean, safe, and meet the basic needs of workers.

Working Hours
Suppliers will comply with all local laws and regulations regarding working hours, rest periods, and breaks.

Living Wages
Suppliers will pay workers at least the minimum compensation required by local law and provide all legally mandated benefits. Overtime must be paid at a premium rate as legally required or, where no such laws exist, at least equal to the regular hourly rate.

Child Labor
Suppliers will prohibit the use of child labor. No workers under the age of 15 (or 14 where permitted under ILO Convention 138) may be employed. Workers under 18 may not perform hazardous work, including night shifts and overtime. Suppliers must verify and maintain proof of workers’ ages and comply with all legal requirements regarding young workers’ hours, wages, safety, and working conditions.

Forced or Compulsory Labor
Suppliers will prohibit any use of forced, bonded, indentured, or prison labor and will not restrict employees’ freedom of movement. Suppliers will not withhold wages, benefits, property, or documents to force continued employment.

Harsh or Inhumane Treatment
Suppliers will not permit any form of physical abuse, sexual or other harassment, verbal abuse, intimidation, or coercion. They will not subject workers to unlawful medical tests or physical exams.

Non-discrimination
Suppliers will not discriminate in hiring, compensation, training, promotion, termination, or retirement based on sex, gender, race, color, ethnic or social origin, religion, political opinion, disability, age, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristics.

ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY

Compliance with Local Laws
Suppliers will operate in an environmentally responsible manner, comply with all applicable environmental laws and regulations, and maintain current permits. They must dispose of waste properly and notify local authorities of any environmental incidents. Suppliers are encouraged to continuously improve their environmental performance and ensure all projects comply with environmental regulations.

Traceability
Suppliers must keep adequate records of their purchases and provide them to AG1 upon request. They must ensure that their direct suppliers also uphold the standards in this Code of Conduct.

Material Use and Records
Suppliers will follow GMP guidelines for record keeping. All consumable goods and items that come into contact with consumables must be batch tracked, and origins disclosed upon request. Specification sheets for materials used in production must be available to AG1 and updated if changes occur. AG1 may provide guidance on acceptable materials and may request sustainability data such as waste reduction, recycling, and energy use.

Conflict Minerals
Suppliers will not source minerals (including cobalt, tantalum, tin, tungsten, or gold) from conflict-affected or high-risk areas that contribute to armed conflict, terrorism, or human rights violations.

Hazardous Waste
Suppliers must properly handle, store, and dispose of solid and hazardous waste in compliance with local laws. They must have all required permits and ensure waste contractors are licensed and qualified. AG1 encourages waste reduction efforts.

Sustainable Packaging
Suppliers should optimize environmental performance through all stages of production and packaging, minimizing resource use and favoring recyclable, renewable, and reusable materials. AG1 prefers paper over plastic, recycled content over virgin materials, and FSC-certified paper where applicable. AG1 may review products to identify sustainability improvements.

Animal Welfare
Suppliers must meet or exceed all applicable animal welfare standards. Those sourcing animal products must implement humane practices.
