To contribute to the emerging body of research on foundational nutrition, and to keep AG1 at the forefront of it, we rely on an in-house team of doctors, scientists, and researchers across different disciplines. In addition, we have formed a Scientific Medical Advisory Council that includes renowned experts in the fields of healthspan and longevity, notably Dr. Andrew Huberman and Dr. Peter Attia.

Members of our team contribute to peer-reviewed scientific papers, helping to lead to the scientific discourse on Foundational Nutrition. Additionally, we publish the results of our scientific studies in peer-reviewed journals so others can benefit from our methodology and data.

Since 2010, we have improved the AG1 formula 52 times, striving to continuously reflect the highest quality ingredients available and the latest scientific evidence in the formula. The more your body can absorb and utilize nutrients, the more impact those nutrients will have. The ingredients in AG1 are selected for how easy they are to absorb, for their potency, and for the presence of hard to get nutrients. For example, the magnesium bisglycinate present in AG1 absorbs at a higher rate than magnesium oxides found in other supplements.

Anything that comes from the ground, including fruits, vegetables, and even drinking water, has the potential to naturally contain some heavy metals. We test AG1 to ensure the product is free from unsafe levels of heavy metals, including:
