AG1 is certified by both the Cologne List® and Informed Sport – two of the world’s most respected independent programmes for dietary supplement testing.

These certifications confirm that AG1 is regularly screened for more than 350 banned substances, including stimulants, narcotics, diuretics and masking agents – helping ensure it’s safe for both athletes and everyday users.

But it goes beyond banned substance testing. The Informed Sport quality seal also means AG1 is manufactured in facilities that meet strict international quality and safety standards, with robust systems in place to prevent contamination and ensure consistency – batch after batch.

Every batch is rigorously tested for microbiological purity, stricter than statutory heavy metal limits, allergens and other contaminants. In addition, AG1 is annually tested for an even wider range of contaminants like over 500 pesticides, herbicides and other harmful substances.

The Certificate of Analysis (COA) is a document that contains a summary report of all independent testing done on AG1 by third-party ISO-certified labs. The CoA indicates whether the tests passed the legally established safety limits, or the sometimes even stricter limits set by AG1. The actual measured values can be well below.

To ensure safety, AG1 is regularly tested for heavy metal levels in accordance with the limits set by the European Commission in EU Regulation 2023/915.
