      The studies were conducted on a similar version of AG1's continually evolving formulation. The transferability of the study results is ensured because of comparable ingredients and amounts.

      (1) Immune system: With vitamins A, C, B6 and B12 as well as folate, zinc, copper and selenium, AG1 contributes to the normal function of the immune system. Vitamin C contributes to maintain the normal function of the immune system during and after intense physical exercise. 200 mg Vitamin C taken daily in addition to the recommended daily dose (80 mg) contributes to the normal function of the immune system during and after intensive physical activity.

      It’s our belief that a product designed to support nutrition should evolve alongside the research. Since 2010, we have continuously upgraded the AG1 formula, guided by the latest research on ingredients and nutrition, to provide customers with better efficacy, higher quality, and consistent taste. Based on a growing body of research on the role of friendly bacteria in the gut microbiome, AG1 now includes five new gut-friendly bacteria that have been clinically studied: Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG, Lactobacillus acidophilus NCFM, Bifidobacterium lactis HN019, Lactobacillus casei LC-11, and Lactobacillus plantarum LP-115. We also increased the amount of magnesium, offering even more comprehensive daily support.

      Our upgraded formula maintains the same great taste and smooth texture. We conducted extensive sensory testing to ensure that the experience remains just as enjoyable.

      Some people may experience mild digestive changes at first. That’s normal and a sign the friendly bacteria is doing its job. If you prefer to ease in, start with half a scoop for the first few days, then move up to a full scoop.

      We’ve increased our commitment to quality by adding new clinically studied strains of bacteria and additional magnesium, while continuing to meet the highest standards for ingredient sourcing, safety, and purity. Despite these improvements, the price has not changed.

      The new scoop is slightly larger than the original one (13 g rather than 12 g) to accommodate the added ingredients in the new formula. We’ve adjusted the pouch size accordingly, at no extra cost for you. Your experience should feel the same.

      If your scoop is missing or damaged, reach out to our Customer Happiness team and we’ll be happy to send you a replacement. In the meantime, one heaped tablespoon is approximately equivalent to one scoop (13g).

      No, we increased the pouch size to make sure the number of servings in your pouch remains the same. The scoop was adjusted to reflect the slight increase in serving size, so you’ll still get the same number of daily servings per pouch.

      Yes, the old scoop is recyclable where facilities exist. Please check your local recycling guidelines for proper disposal. Or, feel free to reuse it—some customers repurpose it for other powders or kitchen needs.
