As VP of Product Development at AG1, Emily combines scientific expertise with business insight to translate evidence-based nutrition into consumer products. Holding an M.S. and Ph.D. in Exercise, Nutrition, and Food Science from South Dakota State University and an M.B.A. from the University of Iowa, her career spans the dietary supplement and food industries, from ingredient suppliers to finished goods brands. Notably, as VP of Scientific Affairs at The Beachbody Company, she led clinical research and scaled product development. Before AG1, she founded Empowered Science, consulting for companies on product design for science-backed portfolios and advancing consumer-relevant clinical study design.
